Pathshala Pro (“we”, “us”, “our”), operated by Kuldeep Singh, having its address at Pune, Maharashtra, India, respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data you share with us. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have under applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to coaching-center owners and staff who create an account (“Users”), and to the information Users enter about their students and guardians. Pathshala Pro acts as a Data Fiduciary for User account data, and as a processor of the student/guardian data that Users choose to store in the app.

2. Information we collect

Account data: your name, email address, phone number, and the coaching-center details you provide (center name, city, board, currency).
Approximate location: a coarse city/country derived from your IP address only to suggest your currency and language at sign-up. We do not store your raw IP address.
Student & fee data you enter: student names, guardian contact numbers, batches, attendance and fee records that you choose to add.
Usage & device data: basic analytics (pages/screens viewed, app events) collected via Google Analytics, only if you accept cookies.

3. Why we use your data (purposes)

To create and operate your account and your coaching center in the app.
To provide core features: students, batches, attendance, fees and reminders.
To suggest a suitable currency and language based on your region.
To improve reliability and usability of the product (analytics, with consent).
To communicate with you about support and important service updates.

4. Legal basis & consent

We process your personal data based on the consent you give when you create an account and use the app, and as necessary to provide the service you request. You may withdraw consent at any time (see “Your rights” below); withdrawing consent may limit your ability to use parts of the service.

5. Cookies & analytics

Our website uses cookies for analytics (Google Analytics) only after you click “Accept” on the cookie banner. If you choose “Reject”, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice anytime by clearing your browser storage for this site.

6. How we store and protect data

Your data is stored on Google Firebase / Google Cloud infrastructure, protected by access controls and security rules so that each center's data is private to that center. We use industry-standard safeguards; however, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Sharing & third parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us run the product, namely:

Google Firebase / Google Cloud — authentication, database and hosting.
Google Analytics — anonymous usage analytics (only with your consent).

We may disclose data if required by law or a valid legal request.

8. Data retention

We retain your account and center data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to erase your data, we will delete it within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

9. Your rights

Under applicable data protection laws (such as the GDPR and the DPDP Act, 2023), you have the right to:

Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Request erasure of your personal data.
Withdraw consent for processing.
Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.
Raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer (below) and, if unresolved, with the relevant data protection authority in your jurisdiction.

10. Children's data

Pathshala Pro is intended for coaching-center owners and staff (adults). Student information is entered by the center; centers are responsible for obtaining any consent required from students' parents or guardians before adding their data.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you within the app.
